18. Bevendean Fun Day 2014 display boards
For the Fun Day in July 2014 the Bevendean History Group were able to
put on a display using the display boards with artefacts appropriate to
the 1950s and 60s.
19. BECCA Play Group Farm Day when pictures of the farm were displayed
The History Group were asked to provide a display about the farm at Bevendean which used to be on the site of the local children’s nursery. This coincided with a day when small farm animals were brought in for the children to look at and handle.
20. The Archives at the Keep, Falmer, Brighton
The new records office at THE KEEP has storage rooms with controlled temperature and environment. They also have commercial deep freezers for documents which come into the keep and may have bacteria on them. The documents are frozen at -40°C for 7 days after which there are cleaned and restored before being placed in the appropriate storage space.
