12. Nature Walk by local primary school children to Bevendean Downs
One of the nature walks took the local school children to see sheep which have been reintroduced onto Bevendean Downs.

13. History Walk with children from Bevendean Primary School
Children from the local primary school were taken on a history walk to show them vegetables growing in a village garden and the site of the original farm yard, barns and farmhouse. The guide for this talk was a member of the staff from THE KEEP, the new records office for East Sussex and Brighton. He is a resident of Bevendean.

14. Archaeological Dig with children from Bevendean Primary School
The local school children did a simulated archaeological dig which was organised through the Sussex Archaeological Society.
