Court Farm Barn, on the
Stanmer Estate, was re roofed in Norfolk Reed thatch at a cost of
£2700 in June 1950. The barn which is believed to be the
largest Tithe Barn in Sussex, is 186 feet long by 43 feet wide.
The barn is behind St Laurence Church in Falmer which was once part of
the Stanmer Estate owned by the Earl of Chichester.
