Jacqueline Bearryman remembers Bevendean
What a wonderful site. My parents moved to 18 Bodiam Avenue in
1950, (I was 6 months old), my sisters and brothers were all bought up
in Bevendean.
Jesse, Josie, Jenny, myself, Jackie, Jill, Frank and Jimmy James.
I just loved reading about the People's stories, such memories.
I moved away in 1969, to start my married life leaving the rest of the family living there.
The section on Bevendean school was wonderful to read, I didn't realise Bevendean had so much history.
Mum and dad never did give any history to the place. Great read.
