Carol Stevenson Memories of Bevendean

I lived in Lower Bevendean after I was born for twenty years; I am now 66 years old.
I first lived in a house in Auckland Drive and at the age of 5 moved to Bodiam Avenue.
I attended Bevendean Primary school and used to go to church and ballet lessons held in the church hall.
My mother would attend the mothers group which was also held at the church hall.
I have many happy memories of my childhood spending long hot summers in the woods and fields that surrounded my home feeling safe to play out in the fresh air. I loved that time.
