CHURCHES AT MOULSECOMBE
The
Bishop of Chichester’s Diocesan Fund Committee being unable to
pay £1,000 for the site of a church on the Moulsecombe Estate.
The Housing Sub-Committee recommended that £700 be accepted. The
Rev. David Watkins enquired concerning a site for a Free Church on the
estate, and in this case the sub-committee were prepared to accept
£525.
Thirty-one fire plugs are to be installed at Moulsecombe, at a cost of £400.
Sixty seven street lights will cost £1,000.
