Bevendean History Project
Artwork Display in Bevendean and Moulsecoomb

The exhibition can be viewed online at fabrica.org.uk as the gallery is closed due to COVID 19.
If you visit Moulsecoomb and Bevendean you will see the massive drawings on the grass on The Avenue and a trail of colourful buildings in Bevendean and Moulsecoomb. A link to a map of the exhibits can be found on the Fabrica Gallery website and links to listen to talks with images about the project.
The work is a co-commission between Fabrica and Brighton Festival
A Simple Act of Wonder in Moulsecoomb & Bevendean comprises a colourful trail of temporary works on residents’ homes, community centres and a major work painted on the green at The Avenue. The ideas for the exhibition as a whole have emerged from a period of research with local residents undertaken by the artists earlier this year. Walter & Zoniel describe A Simple Act of Wonder as a ‘portrait’ of a neighbourhood that is largely unnoticed by the rest of the city.
