A Memorandum



Memorandum whereby it is agreed declared between the within named Landlords and the within named Tenant that in consideration of the landlords withdrawing the Notice to Quit dated the 16th day of September 1919 served by them on the Tenant the power reserved to the Landlords to resume possession of any portion of the premises certain purposes not being agricultural contained in the Written agreement shall so far as relates to that portion of the premises containing Eleven acres or thereabouts attached with blue lines on the plan attached to the within written agreement be deemed to be and shall be extended to enable the Landlords to resume possession for the purposes of providing allotments as if that purpose had been expressed in the within written agreement

Memorandum


Whereby it is agreed in declared between the within named Landlords and the within name Tenant as follows: -

The land shown on the plan attached the within written Agreement and coloured pink ant hatched cross hatched in various colours has from time to time been surrendered by the Tenant to the Landlords and the rent of £262 payable by the tenant under the within written Agreement has been reduced to the sum of £163 inconsequence thereof

The Landlords have agreed to let to the Tenant the additional land shown on the said plan and coloured blue comprising 43 acres 3 roods 16 perches including the buildings thereon (except the Farm House) and as described in the schedule hereto on a yearly tenancy and on the same terms agreements and conditions as are contained in the within written agreement from the 29th day of September 1933 at an additional rent of £22 per annum making the annual rental payable by the tenant in respect of the land coloured pink and blue the sum of £185 per annum it is hereby mutually agreed that the tenant shall have the right to lay down at his own expense fields numbers 218B and 219A containing 12 acres 3 roods 25 perches on the understanding that no claim is made by him for it as permanent pasture at the end of the tenancy

The Landlords hereby give their consent to the Tenant breaking up field number 196 on the said plan

Except as varied as aforesaid the within written Agreement shall remain in full force and effect

Memorandum


Whereby it is agreed in declared between the within named Corporation and the within named tenant as follows: -

The Corporation have agreed to let and the Tenant has agreed to take as from the 29th day of September 1936 the piece of land situated at Lower Bevendean in the County Borough of Brighton and shown coloured yellow on the plan attached to the within written agreement and comprising 5 acres or thereabouts as described in the schedule hereto upon the yearly tenancy determinable by either party by not less than 12 calendar months' notice in writing expiring on the 29th day of September in any year at a rental of £5 per annum payable quarterly on the usual quarters days the first payment to be made on the 25th day of December 1936 and to be in respect of the period from the 29th day of September 1936 to the 25th day of December 1936 such tenancy to be on the same terms agreements and conditions as are contained in the within written agreements

Except as varied as aforesaid the within written agreement shall remain in full force and effect

Memorandum: That the within named Tenant has surrendered to the Corporation of Brighton possession of the land shown cross-hatched in blue on the plan attached to the within written Lease, and the rent therein reserved has been reduced by the sum of Eight pounds five shillings to Two hundred and ninety one pounds fifteen shillings as from the 25th day of March 1926 in accordance with the provisions in that behalf contained in the Memorandum dated the 22nd April 1920 endorsed herein
